La pizzica con l’accento di New York

We are so proud to announce

ARAMIRÈ
at
CARNEGIE HALL

New York City
January 19, 2007

Presented by Carnegie Hall
in partnership with
The World Music Institute

Aramirè, Compagnia di Musica Salentina
(Band of Salentine Music) from Southern Italy,
is renowned for their infectious renditions of the pizzica tarantata,
the music played to heal the bite of the mythical spider (la taranta).
The only cure was to dance to the rhythm of the tambourine.

This is Aramirè’s first and only concert in the USA in four years
and tickets are selling out! Move your feet!
Get Bitten by the Beat!
